Series Reports I President LI Jinyun’s Attendance at the World Women University Presidents South Asia Forum

        Invited by secretariat of organizing committee of the World Women University Presidents Forum, president LI Jinyun flew to South Asia for her visit to three countries in South Asia on April 17. She will attend the World Women University Presidents South Asia Forum in Nepal on April 25 and pay a visit to five colleges and universities in Pakistan, India, and Nepal.
        The World Women University Presidents South Asia Forum organized by the World Women University Presidents Forum is planned to be held on April 25, 2015. The topic of the forum is “Cooperation· Common Progress· Prosperity”. The forum invited 6 prominent presidents of private colleges and universities in China, i.e. Hebei Institute of Communications, Shih Hsin University, Jilin Huaqiao Foreign Language Institute, Huanghe Science and Technology College and Nanjing Broadcasting Institute of Communication University.
        Initiated by Communication University of China, the forum has been successfully held for six times since 2001. President LI was invited to make a speech at the 6th forum in September 2014, which exerted a positive impact.
        Manju Mishra, dean of Nepal College of Journalism and Mass Communication, attended the forum for three times. Women presidents are all moved by her courage to face the difficulties and challenges of running the college. At the “entrepreneurial hardships facing women presidents & mutual help” round-table meeting of the 6th forum held in 2014, president LI, on behalf of the chairman of Jingying Group, suggested that collective efforts should be made to help Nepal College of Journalism and Mass Communication. After 7-month preparation, the organizing committee will implement the donation program at the forum held on April 25, 2015.
        Besides the forum and the donation ceremony, president LI will visit Fatima Jinnah Women University (Pakistan), SNDT Women’s University (India), Shiv Nadar University (India), Whistling Woods International (India), and Nepal College of Journalism and Mass Communication.
